Switzerland 1

Switzerland  (German: Schweiz, French, Swiss, Italian Switzerland, Romansh: Svizra) is a country in Central Europe. It has borders with France to the west, in southern Italy, Austria and Liechtenstein to the east and Germany to the north. The climate is temperate, but varies with altitude. Switzerland has cold, cloudy, rainy winter / snow and cold to warm, cloudy, humid summers with occasional showers.Switzerland is known for its mountains (Alps in south, Jura in northwest), but also has a central plateau of rolling hills, plains and large lakes. The highest point is the Dufour Peak at 4634 m while Lake Maggiore is only 195 m above sea level.
UnderstandThe independence and neutrality of Switzerland have long been honored by the great European powers and Switzerland was not involved in one of two world wars. The political and economic integration of Europe in the past half century, but also Switzerland's role in many UN and international organizations has strengthened Switzerland's ties with its neighbors. However, the country is not officially a UN member until 2002. Switzerland remains active in many UN and international organizations, while maintaining a strong commitment to neutrality.Switzerland shows three of the most diverse cultures in Europe. In the north-east is clean and correct, 8-to-5-job, the more rigid Swiss German-speaking Switzerland, south-west are the wine and the laissez-faire style known by the French in the south-east, south the Alps, the sun warms cappuccino-sippers loitering in Italian-style plazas and in the center: classic Swiss horns and mountain landscapes. Blend all is a clear Swiss mentality.
Switzerland can be a glorious whirlwind trip whether you have the boots, snowboard, or simply a good book and made sunglasses.
